An important coming date and an important visitor.......
On Sunday 29th March, we begin our celebrations that there has been a Methodist Church in Killamarsh village for 150 years.
We are planning a number of activities over the coming 12 months (watch this space) but to kick things off the the President of the Methodist Conference is visiting to give the Sunday sermon.
The President of Conference is the leader of the Methodist Church (so a bit like our Archbishop of Canterbury) BUT they only hold the role for a year,
This year's President is Rev Richard Andrew and you can read more about him, and his theme for the year, by clicking here or watching this short video "Our story, our song." couldn't more appropriate for an anniversary year!
Or you can see and here him in person on Sunday service at 9.45 or afterwards for a chat with a drink and cake until 12.
So, a date for your diary 29th March. Hope to see you there.
